AVEL TVs for bathhouses and saunas are not standard TVs, but specialized devices designed for operation in challenging conditions. They are suitable for installation in rooms with high humidity and can be used in spaces where safety, reliability and a neat appearance are important.
The models feature a protected design, a tempered front panel, moisture resistance and the ability to operate at elevated temperatures. Thanks to this, the TV can be seamlessly integrated into the interior of a steam room, sauna, bathroom or SPA area while preserving the aesthetics of the space.

Protection against high temperatures

One of the key features of AVEL TVs is their ability to operate in high-temperature conditions. The design is engineered so that the device maintains stable performance even in rooms where the air heats up much more than in a regular room.
The production process uses materials and technical solutions designed for operation in warm and humid environments. This is especially important for saunas and bathhouses, where equipment is exposed to additional stress.
At the same time, installation rules must be followed: the TV must not be placed directly above the stove or in an area of excessive heat.

In a sauna or bathhouse, equipment is constantly exposed to moisture, condensation and steam. That is why AVEL TVs feature a moisture-resistant design: the housing, connections and front panel are engineered to reduce the risk of moisture entering the device.

How AVEL TVs are installed

AVEL built-in TVs are mounted in a pre-prepared niche. A special mounting box, included in the set, is used for installation. This system allows the TV to be securely fixed in the wall and provides a neat appearance without visible wires.

Cables, additional devices and a set-top box, if used, are placed inside the niche. The cable connection area is additionally protected from moisture, which is especially important for bathhouses, saunas and SPA areas.
For correct and long-lasting operation, it is recommended to provide natural ventilation, as shown in the photo. Cooling the rear part of the TV and ensuring proper heat dissipation help extend the service life of the device and reduce the load on electronic components.
Attention! The TV must not be placed directly above the stove.

Temperature testing of AVEL TVs

AVEL waterproof built-in TVs have been tested in a specialized laboratory. Testing was carried out in stages to determine the permissible operating conditions and verify the stability of the device at elevated temperatures.
Laboratory tests confirmed that the TVs can operate at temperatures up to 80°C, and temporarily up to 100°C. At the same time, as with any electronic device, moderate temperature conditions remain the most favorable for long service life.
The obtained certificate confirms the possibility of long-term TV operation at 60°C. This makes AVEL models suitable for saunas where the temperature usually ranges from 60 to 80°C.

IPX4 moisture protection test

AVEL TVs are certified in accordance with international standards. They also undergo water resistance testing. Under laboratory conditions, the switched-on TV is sprayed with water from different directions using professional equipment.
During the test, water is sprayed onto the device from different directions at a flow rate of 10 liters per minute under a pressure of 50 to 150 kPa. This test confirms that the TV is protected against splashes and is suitable for rooms with high humidity.
Based on the test results, an international certificate of compliance with the EN 60529 standard is issued. The IPX4 protection class confirms that the TVs have successfully passed the test for resistance to external moisture exposure.
